PUBLIC NOTICE LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (LDEQ) IBERIA PARISH GOVERNMENT / TYPE III LANDFILL #2 DRAFT SOLID WASTE PERMIT RENEWAL APPLICATION The LDEQ, Office of Environmental Services, has determined that the Solid Waste Permit Renewal Application for Iberia Parish Government - Type III Landfill #2, 300 Iberia Street, Suite 400, New Iberia, Louisiana 70560 for the Type III Landfill is technically complete and acceptable for public review. The facility is located at 5905 Freetown Road, New Iberia, Iberia Parish. Iberia Parish proposes to continue operating an existing Type III Landfill and dispose up to 30 wet tons per week and 1,560 wet tons per year of C&D debris and 250 wet tons per week and 13,000 wet tons per year of woodwaste generated off-site. Comments and requests for a public hearing or notification of the final decision can be submitted online on the public notice webpage (http://www.deq.louisiana.gov/public-notices), via personal delivery, U.S. mail, or email.
