PUBLIC NOTICE LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (LDEQ) CITY OF NEW ORLEANS - GENTILLY LANDFILL DRAFT SOLID WASTE PERMIT RENEWAL APPLICATION The LDEQ, Office of Environmental Services, has determined that a Draft Solid Waste Permit Renewal Application for the City of New Orleans - Gentilly Landfill, 1300 Perdido St., Rm 1W30 for the Type III C&D and Woodwaste Landfill is technically complete and acceptable for public review. The facility is located at 10200 Almonaster Avenue in New Orleans, Orleans Parish. City of New Orleans - Gentilly Landfill proposes to dispose up to 10,000 wet tons per week and 520,000 wet tons per year of C&D and Woodwaste. Comments and requests for a public hearing or notification of the final decision can be submitted online on the public notice webpage (http://www.deq.louisiana.gov/public-notices), via personal delivery, U.S. mail, or email.
