PUBLIC NOTICE - - - VILLAGE OF NORWOOD MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN REGULAR SESSION November 13, 2025 The Mayor and Board of Aldermen met in regular session at the Norwood Town Hall on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. with Mayor Becky Bellue presiding. Aldermen Trey Poole and Kimmi Sellers were present. Alderman Ronnie Jett was absent. All motions carried unanimously unless otherwise noted. A motion was made by Ald Sellers and was seconded by Ald. Poole approving the minutes of the previous meeting. A motion was made by Ald. Poole and was seconded by Ald. Sellers approving the financial statement from October, as well as payment of the new bills for November. OLD BUSINESS: 1. Police Report – Chief Kenny Stewart reported that the decals have been put on the new unit. The black Dodge Durango was involved in a hit and run at the Dollar General in Wilson. When Chief Stewart came out of the store, there was damage on the passenger side. The Wilson Police Department will be investigating. 2. Fire Report – Fire Chief Jimmy Garig said that he is waiting on results from the PIAL rating. 3. Maintenance Report – Kohnke Rogillio reported that he has fixed a few water leaks and he’s fixed the sewer pump at Matthew Parnell’s house. 4. Clerk’s Report –Mayor Bellue and Jennie Jelks attended the Mayor’s Court Conference in Alexandria. Swyft Fiber’s attorney emailed the town hall asking for the wording in the Cable/Internet Franchise Agreement to be changed. The Aldermen said to ask Sam D’Aquilla’s opinion on the matter.
