PUBLIC NOTICE - - - The State of Louisiana, Division of Administration, is hereby advertising the sale of the Leesville State School property located at 401 Nolan Trace, Leesville, Louisiana 71446. This site is comprised of 9.7 acres and nine buildings with 63,094 square feet of gross building area and a large athletic field. The sale will be conducted by sealed bids. The minimum bid is hereby set at $180,000. Sealed bids may be mailed to the Office of State Lands at P.O. Box 44124, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70804. Sealed bids will also be accepted by hand delivery to the Office of State Lands via the Claiborne Building Security Desk, 1201 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802 (in downtown Baton Rouge), from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2nd ; no bids will be accepted if received after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2nd . Bids must include the name and contact information of the bidder, including a valid email address and phone number. Bids must also include a good faith deposit in the amount of $1,800 by certified check or money order only. Bids will be opened at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 2nd , in the Office of State Lands, Suite G-223, on the Ground Floor of the Claiborne Building, 1201 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802.
