PUBLIC NOTICE - - - The Port of New Orleans is updating its 2020 Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) and is seeking input from port operators, industry and agency stakeholders. In accordance with FEMA and GOHSEP requirements, Port NOLA updates the HMP every five years. The 2025 HMP Update will address manmade hazards and compile strategies and projects to mitigate, reduce or prevent impacts to Port NOLA and tenant operations. Port NOLA will host a public meeting to present hazard risk assessments and draft mitigation strategies for review and input.
