PUBLIC NOTICE - - - “The Lafayette Consolidated Government Community Development & Planning Department together with the City of Broussard, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of Lafayette Consolidated Government’s and the City of Broussard’s intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located along the western side of 7600 block of Ambassador Caffery Parkway. Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along Coulee Lasalle from the crossing of Ambassador Caffery Parkway to a point approximately 2400 feet upstream. As a result of the revision the 1-percent-annual-chance water-surface elevations will be established, and the 1-percent-annual-chance floodplain will widen and narrow within the area of revision. Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the City of Broussard offices at 310 East Main St. Broussard, LA 70518.
