PUBLIC NOTICE - - - The Castle Manor Improvement District, created under Act 202 of the 2024 Louisiana Legislature, is giving Notice, that on the May 16, 2026 ballot a proposal to levy an annual parcel fee for five years (2027–2031): up to $100 per residential and $200 per commercial parcel for the first three years, and up to $125 per residential and $225 per commercial parcel for the next two years, subject to voter approval. If any owner of the parcel is 65 years of age or older and has qualified for the Property Tax Freeze, they will not be subject to the above fees. Above fees are estimated to generate approximately $65,000 annually, and will exclusively be used for the purpose of beautification, security and overall betterment of the Castle Manor Improvement District. 180734-mar 25 apr 1-8-15-4t $389.56
