PUBLIC NOTICE - - - SALE BY SHERIFF JUDICIAL ADVERTISEMENT THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF GROUND BEARING MUNICIPAL NUMBER 4420 VENUS STREET, THIS CITY, IN THE MATTER ENTITLED: SUSAN FALCON VERSUS CINDY BADINGER C I V I L D I S T R I C T C O U R T F O R P A R I S H O F O R L E A N S Case No: 2023-12377 By virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias directed to me by the Honorable Judges of Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans, in the above entitled cause, I will proceed to sell by public auction, on the ground floor of the Civil District Court Building, 421 Loyola Avenue, in the First District of the City on March 26, 2026, at 12:00 o'clock noon, the following described property to wit: THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF GROUND, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, and all of the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, situated in the Third District of the City of New Orleans in the Square No. 9 of Gentilly Terrace Subdivision, bounded by Venus, Painters and Lombard Streets and Gentilly Boulevard. Said portion of ground commences at a distance of 127 .32 feet from the corner of Venus Street and Gentilly Boulevard, and measures thence 60 feet along Venus Street; thence westwardly, at right angles, 119 feet to an iron rod; thence southwardly, at right angles, 25 feet to an iron pipe; thence westwardly, at right angles 1 foot; thence southwardly, at right angles 25 feet to an iron pipe; thence eastwardly, at right angles 30 feet to an iron pipe; thence southwardly, at right angles, 10 feet to an iron pipe: thence eastwardly, at right angles 90 feet to the point of beginning on Venus Street, and is composed of the whole of lots 11 &12, and a strip 10 feet wide taken from the rear of Lots Nos. 8, 9 & 10, and a portion of lot 7, all of said lots being shown on plan of Warren B. Reed, C.E., dated May 20, 1909, annexed to an act of deposit before J.C. Wensk, N.P., on June 13, 1909, and the portion herein described being shown on plat of survey by Gilbert & Kelly, Surveyors, dated November 4, 1941, and revised August 21, 1942, annexed to an act of Mortgage, passed before Edward B. Ellis, Notary Public, dated November 6 1942, recorded at MOB 1644, folio 425. All as more fully shown on a survey by Gilbert, Kelly& Couturie, Inc., dated September 7, 2004.
