PUBLIC NOTICE - - - Renaissance Neighborhood Development Corp. is competing for CDBG funds, 4% Tax Credits and tax-exempt bonds to be allocated by Louisiana Housing Corporation in order to develop 3601 Coliseum, a proposed 94-unit adaptive reuse development for elderly households, located at 3601 Coliseum St., New Orleans, LA 70115 in Orleans parish. The planned development would contain community space and 11 studios, 80 one-beds, and 3 two-beds in one apartment building at an estimated total development cost of $40.6mm. The anticipated financing is comprised of $7.2mm of 221(d)4 loan proceeds, within the HUD 2024 Unit Total Development Cost Limits; $5.3mm of State Historic Tax Credit equity; $5.4mm of CDBG-DR funds; $13mm of Federal LIHTC Equity; $1.3mm of bond reinvestment earnings; and $8.3mm of other subordinate soft funding.
