PUBLIC NOTICE - - - Public notice is hereby given that the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government (LCG), Community Development & Planning Department (CDP) will conduct Public Hearing #2 for the 2026 Annual Action Plan on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Clifton Chenier Center Auditorium located at 220 West Willow Street, Building C, Lafayette, Louisiana. LCG, CDP is developing its U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 2026 Annual Action Plan. This Plan identifies the types of activities that will be funded with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) entitlement funds during LCG’s Program Year 2026 (October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027). All activities funded under the 2026 Annual Action Plan will address the priority needs identified in the LCG’s 2023/2027 Five-Year Consolidated Plan. The purpose of this hearing is to discuss CDP’s Program Year 2026 recommendations for federal entitlement funding, 2025 Annual Action Plan Amendment, and 2021 HOME-ARP Action Plan Amendment LCG, CDP will release a draft copy of the 2026 Annual Action Plan, 2025 Annual Action Plan Amendment, and 2021 HOME-ARP Action Plan Amendment for a 30-day public review and comment period beginning April 6, 2026, and ending May 8, 2026.
