PUBLIC NOTICE - - - PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given of the availability of FY25 federal funds through the Office for Victims of Crime housed in the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs. This funding is to support the provision of direct services to victims of crime at no cost to victims. Programs must be operated by a public agency, nonprofit organization, or a combination of such agencies. The Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement (LCLE) administers and allocates these funds through the Orleans District. The total amount available to the Orleans District is $1,381,791.00. All applicants are required to provide a 20% cash and /or in-kind match with the following exception: no cash and/or in –kind match is required for Native American tribes/organization or reservations. Projects will be funded up to a 9-month basis. The complete Notice of Funding Opportunity and Notice of Intent may be obtained from Louisiana commission on Law Enforcement website www.lcle.la.gov. Additionally, applicants are required to complete the Supplemental Grant Questions as part of the grant’s allocation consideration process. These forms may be obtained and submitted on the OCJC website www.nola.gov/ocjc. The deadline for submitting program proposals, i.e., Notice of Intent worksheets (NOI’s) Supplemental Questions, etc. is November 3, 2025. Proposals will be considered for approval at the Criminal Justice Council Meeting scheduled on November 19,2025, for 1pm. Meeting arrangements will be posted on the OCJC website.
