PUBLIC NOTICE - - - PUBLIC NOTICE OF SIGNIFICANT NONCOMPLIANCE VIOLATIONS FOR THE SEWERAGE AND WATER BOARD OF NEW ORLEANS PRETREATMENT PROGRAM Listed below are significant wastewater discharge violations or noncompliance of the requirements of 40 CFR Part 403 (General Pretreatment Regulations) occurring in the last 12 months. NAME OF COMPANY: Crescent Environmental Services (CES) ADDRESS: 15400 Chef Menteur Highway New Orleans, LA 70129 VIOLATION: Process wastewater discharge samples exceeded the daily maximum discharge limit (DMDL) for Total Suspended Solids (TSS), n-Octadecane and Zinc on 9/30/2025, during the user’s mandatory self-monitoring sampling event. And process wastewater discharge samples exceeded the monthly average discharge limit (MADL) for Oil & Grease, TSS, Copper, Lead, Zinc, and n-Octadecane on 9/30/2025 during the user’s mandatory self-monitoring sampling event. Action Taken: Notice of Violation was issued to CES for noncompliance of their Wastewater Discharge Permit No.020. CES ceased operation on 10/7/2025 and no longer discharges to the East Bank Wastewater Treatment Plant. CES will be submitting an updated permit application to discharge a different waste stream to the East Bank Wastewater Treatment Plant. If accepted, a modified permit will be issued to CES.
