PUBLIC NOTICE - - - OFFICAL NOTICE SOLICITATION FOR SERVICE PROPOSALS St. Tammany Council on Aging, Inc. – (COAST) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program. As a sub-recipient of funding from the US Department of Health and Human Services – Administration on Aging, it is our policy that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, as defined in 49 CFR Part 26, have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of Special Programs for the Aging paid for in part with Title III funds. In order to comply with federal regulations, the Council on Aging is publishing this notice to alert and inform those persons and businesses who may qualify as a DBE, that they are being afforded the opportunity to participate in the administration of our federally funded programs. If you qualify as a DBE, please submit proof of your qualifications along with your name, address, and phone number no later than May 1, 2026. The Council on Aging will put you on its procurement list and contact you in cases where we will be soliciting bids for services or materials relating to the administration of federally funded programs.
