PUBLIC NOTICE - - - Notice is hereby given that Egan Hub Storage, LLC has applied for a 40 I Water Quality Certification to clear, grade, excavate, and place fill to expand the existing Egan Hub Storage, LLC facility at 401 Ida Fruge Drive in Evangeline, Acadia Parish. The work includes the construction of two (2) new salt domes; the construction of a leaching and dewatering facility; the installation of a 0.25-mile, 16-inch-diameter freshwater pipeline and a 0.25-mile, 16-inch-diameter brine pipeline to connect the new caverns to the leaching facility; the installation of two (2) 0.25-mile, 16-inch-diameter gas pipelines to tie in the new caverns; the construction of three (3) new Cat 3616s with aerial KBZ-6 reciprocating compressor units and six coolers and a new compressor building; the construction of a new dehydration facility with a contactor tower, glycol system, thermal oxidizer, and in-line heater; the drilling of one new freshwater supply well and the installation of a 0.75-mile, 18-inch-diameterfreshwater pipeline from the freshwater well to the leaching facility; and the drilling of one new saltwater disposal well 1.5 miles southwest of the existing facility adjacent to facilities currently owned by Egan Hub off Riverside Road. Egan Hub Storage, LLC is applying to the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, Office of Environmental Services for a Water Quality Certification in accordance with statutory authority contained in the LAC 33:IX.1507.A-E and provisions of Section 401 of the Clean Water Act.
