PUBLIC NOTICE - - - NOTICE The Lafayette Parish Council met in Regular Session on June 2, 2026 and adopted the following ordinances: PARISH ORDINANCE NO. PO-020-2026 AN ORDINANCE OF THE LAFAYETTE PARISH COUNCIL AMENDING THE FY 25/26 OPERATING BUDGET OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY-PARISH CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT BY ADJUSTING THE MANNING TABLES AND INCREASING THE HOURLY PAY RATE OF ONE (1) SECRETARY I POSITION WITHIN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS DEPARTMENT ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY DIVISION BE IT ORDAINED by the Lafayette Parish Council, that: SECTION 1: The FY 25/26 operating budget of the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government is hereby amended by adjusting the manning tables and increasing the hourly pay rate of one (1) Secretary I position (Position No. 1032) from $16.5600 to $17.8483, as recommended by Civil Service. SECTION 2: The FY 25/26 operating budget of the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government shall not be affected due to the sufficient unexpended/unencumbered balance in the salary appropriation to cover the additional cost needed for the remainder of the 25/26 fiscal year. SECTION 3: This adjustment to the Capital Improvements Department’s manning tables shall be reflected in any pertinent documents which are attached hereto and made part hereof and filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Council. SECTION 4: All ordinances or resolutions, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
