PUBLIC NOTICE - - - NOTICE The Lafayette Parish Council and the Lafayette City Council each met in Regular Session on December 16, 2025 and introduced the following joint ordinances. JO-072-2025 A joint ordinance of the Lafayette City Council and the Lafayette Parish Council amending Ordinance No. JO-061-2025 to correct the name of the Lafayette Public Trust Finance Authority to Lafayette Public Trust Financing Authority and to correct the description of the Lafayette Public Trust Financing Authority as a Louisiana public trust. JO-073-2025 A joint ordinance of the Lafayette City Council and the Lafayette Parish Council, acting in their capacity as the governing authority of the City of Lafayette and the Parish of Lafayette, respectively, providing for the abandonment of a certain portion of public right-of-way at the intersection of West Willow Street (formerly known as G.L. Landry Road) and North Ambassador Caffery Parkway, and authorizing the Lafayette Mayor-President to execute an act of abandonment in order to effectuate the abandonment on behalf of the City of Lafayette and Parish of Lafayette. JO-074-2025 A joint ordinance of the Lafayette City Council and the Lafayette Parish Council authorizing the Lafayette Mayor-President to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement between the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government, the Louisiana Department of the Treasury and the State of Louisiana concerning ACT 461 of the 2025 Regular Legislative Session of the Louisiana Legislature and amending the FY 25/26 capital budget of the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government by increasing revenues in the amount of $125,000 received from the State of Louisiana Department of the Treasury and appropriating within the Community Development and Planning Department for a community assessment for a mental health crisis center.
