CO-042-2026 AN ORDINANCE OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FY 25/26 OPERATING AND CAPITAL BUDGET OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY-PARISH CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT BY INCREASING THE USE OF FUND BALANCE IN THE CITY GENERAL FUND (FUND 1010) BY $1,195,000 AND APPROPRIATING FOR THE EXTERNAL APPROPRIATION TO ACA MUSIC MUSEUM AND INCREASING THE CITY COMBINED BOND FUND (FUND 4410) RESERVE BY $1,195,000 AND REMOVING THE ACA MUSIC MUSEUM BOND PROJECT BE IT ORDAINED by the Lafayette City Council, that: SECTION 1: The FY 25/26 operating and capital budget of the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government is hereby amended to remove the ACA Music Museum project in Fund 4410 City Combined Bond Fund and create an external appropriation to ACA Music Museum within the City General Fund (Fund 1010). SECTION 2: This transfer of funds shall be reflected in any pertinent documents which are attached and made a part hereof and filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Council. CO-043-2026 AN ORDINANCE OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FY 25/26 OPERATING BUDGET AND ADJUSTING THE MANNING TABLES OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY-PARISH CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT BY RECLASSIFYING AND ADJUSTING THE SALARY OF ONE (1) CITY MARSHAL OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR TO DEPUTY ADMINISTRATOR POSITION REFLECTING ELIGIBILITY FOR STATE SUPPLEMENTAL PAY (SSP) WITHIN THE LAFAYETTE CITY MARSHAL’S OFFICE BE IT ORDAINED by the Lafayette City Council, that: SECTION 1: The FY 25/26 operating budget and manning tables of the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government is hereby amended by reclassifying and adjusting the hourly rate of one (1) City Marshal Office Administrator to Deputy Administrator position from $25.82 to $29.28. SECTION 2: The FY 25/26 operating budget of the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government shall not be impacted as there is sufficient unexpended/unencumbered salary appropriation to cover this reallocation. The annual recurring cost is $8,177.26, of which $7,200.00 shall be funded by the State of Louisiana and $977.26 by the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government. SECTION 3: This adjustment to the Lafayette City Marshal’s Office manning tables shall be as reflected in any pertinent documents which are attached hereto and made a part hereof and filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Council.
