PUBLIC NOTICE - - - NOTICE The Lafayette City Council and the Lafayette Parish Council each met in Regular Session on November 4, 2025 and adopted the following ordinances: ORDINANCE NO. JO-056-2025 A JOINT ORDINANCE OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY COUNCIL AND THE LAFAYETTE PARISH COUNCIL AMENDING THE FY 25/26 OPERATING AND CAPITAL BUDGET OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY-PARISH CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT BY INCREASING REIMBURSEMENT REVENUES FROM STATE OF LOUISIANA FACILITY PLANNING AND CONTROL FOR LAKE FARM TO VEROT SCHOOL ROAD EXTENSION, PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION PROJECT NO. 50 J28-23-10 IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,425,000 AND ACCOUNTING FOR THE REQUIRED MATCH OF $833,333 AND APPROPRIATING WITHIN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT BE IT ORDAINED by the Lafayette City Council and the Lafayette Parish Council, that: SECTION 1: The FY 25/26 operating and capital budget of the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government is hereby amended by increasing reimbursement revenues from State of Louisiana Facility Planning and Control for Lake Farm to Verot School Road Extension, Planning and Construction Project No. 50-J28-23-10 in the amount of $2,425,000 and accounting for the required match of $833,333 and appropriating within the Public Works Department. SECTION 2: The aforesaid adjustments shall be as reflected in any pertinent documents which are attached hereto and made a part hereof and filed in the Office of the Clerk of Council. SECTION 3: All ordinances and resolutions, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: After first having been adopted by a majority of the authorized membership of both the Lafayette Parish Council and the Lafayette City Council, this joint ordinance shall become effective upon signature of this joint ordinance by the Lafayette Mayor-President, the elapse of ten (10) days after receipt by the Lafayette Mayor-President without signature or veto, or upon an override of a veto, whichever occurs first. * * * * * ORDINANCE NO. JO-057-2025 A JOINT ORDINANCE OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY COUNCIL AND THE LAFAYETTE PARISH COUNCIL AMENDING THE FY 25/26 OPERATING AND CAPITAL BUDGET OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY-PARISH CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT BY INCREASING REIMBURSEMENT REVENUES FROM STATE OF LOUISIANA FACILITY PLANNING AND CONTROL FOR HEYMANN PARK IMPROVEMENTS, PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION PROJECT NO. 50-J28-19-02 IN THE AMOUNT OF $800,000 AND ACCOUNTING FOR THE REQUIRED MATCH OF $124,834 AND APPROPRIATING WITHIN THE PARC DEPARTMENT BE IT ORDAINED by the Lafayette City Council and the Lafayette Parish Council, that: SECTION 1: The FY 25/26 operating and capital budget of the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government is hereby amended by increasing reimbursement revenues from State of Louisiana Facility Planning and Control for Heymann Park Improvements, Planning and Construction Project No. 50-J28-19-02 in the amount of $800,000 and accounting for the required match of $124,834 and appropriating within the PARC Department for said project. SECTION 2: The aforesaid adjustments shall be as reflected in any pertinent documents which are attached hereto and made a part hereof and filed in the Office of the Clerk of Council. SECTION 3: All ordinances and resolutions, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. JO-058-2025 A JOINT ORDINANCE OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY COUNCIL AND THE LAFAYETTE PARISH COUNCIL AMENDING THE FY 25/26 CAPITAL BUDGET OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY-PARISH CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT BY TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM LAJAUNIE ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT TO EXISTING FREM BOUSTANY EXTENSION PROJECT AND TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM MILLCREEK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, BECKY LANE CROSS DRAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT AND RIVER OAKS DETENTION PROJECT TO CREATE NEW FREM BOUSTANY EXTENSION PROJECT BE IT ORDAINED by the Lafayette City Council and the Lafayette Parish Council, that: SECTION 1: The FY 25/26 capital budget of the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government is hereby amended by transferring funds from Lajaunie Road Bridge Replacement Project to existing Frem Boustany Extension Project and transferring funds from Millcreek Drainage Improvements Project, Becky Lane Cross Drain Replacement Project and River Oaks Detention Project to create new Frem Boustany Extension Project. SECTION 2: The aforesaid adjustments shall be as reflected in any pertinent documents which are attached hereto and made a part hereof and filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Council. SECTION 3: All ordinances and resolutions, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
