Description: Proposal to remove vegetative debris from the East/West Canal North of the BNSF tracks to the Major Seller's Canal Outfall from the Pump Station to the south on an annual basis (unless storms deem a more or less frequent clearing schedule appropriate). Approx. 8,217 CY of vegetative debris will be cleared over five (5) years to maintain and improve water flow/drainage and civilian storm protection. No dredging, excavating, or widening of the canal(s) are proposed. The vegetative debris will be placed on the high bank 15-foot wide historical servitudes (with gaps every 200-feet to avoid berming off natural flow). Access points and existing servitudes will be utilized for entry to the site, all work will remain within the existing canals or roadways, and long arm excavators and marsh buggies will be utilized to avoid unnecessary tracking outside of existing access points, servitudes, canals, and roadways.
