PUBLIC NOTICE - - - NOTICE OF EMERGENCY A Director Declared Emergency has been declared by the Director of the Jefferson Parish Department of General Services. On January 5, 2026, it was determined in the best interest of Jefferson Parish to proceed with a Director Declared Emergency for a one-year contract to perform maintenance, minor repairs, and monthly safety inspections to the eight (8) elevators in the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center. The elevators are a vital part of the building and need to be maintained at all times.
