Pursuant to an order of the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans in the matter of ALLEN PARKS, JR., PRAYING FOR MONITION, Docket No. 2026-02653, Div. I, CIVIL DISTRICT COURT, Parish of ORLEANS, State of Louisiana, dated April 1, 2026, it was ordered as follows: WHEREAS, ALLEN J. PARKS, JR., by act executed by Norman White, Director of Finance and Ex-Officio Tax Collector for the Parish of Orleans, recorded in the Land Records of Orleans Parish, bearing Notarial Archives number 2022-48842 and Conveyance Instrument Number 721674, purchased property at tax sale; WHEREAS, ALLEN J. PARKS, JR. has applied to this Honorable Court for a Monition or advertisement, in conformity with LA. REV. STAT. § 47:2271, et. seq.; THEREFORE, in the name of the State of Louisiana and the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans, all interested persons are cited and admonished to show cause within six (6) months from the date on which this Monition is first advertised, why grounds exist for a nullity under the provisions of Chapter 5 of Subtitle III of Title 47 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950. Krebs & Sons, Surveyors, dated March 12, 1952, a black line print whereof is annexed to an act recorded at COB 581/647, according to which survey the said Lot “Q” commences at a distance of 1470.72 feet in an easterly direction along the southerly line of the Lee-Micheaud Highway, from the point of intersection of the dividing line between the property of G. J. Vincent and Scotia Tract No. 1, with the southerly line of the Lee-Micheaud Highway, and measures thence 92.80 feet front on the Lee-Micheaud Highway, with a width of 92.68 feet along the right of way of the Louisville & Nashville Railroad, in the rear, by a depth of 492.71 feet on the side line adjoining Lot “P”, and a depth of 493.69 feet on the opposite side line adjoining Lot “R” and is composed of a portion of arpent Lot No. 143.
