PUBLIC NOTICE - - - Louisiana Department of Conservation and Energy Office of Permitting and Compliance BKVerde, LLC Class V Stratigraphic Test Well Ascension Parish Docket No. UIC 2026-04 Application No. 45431 Pursuant to provisions of the laws of the State of Louisiana and particularly Title 30 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 as amended, and provisions of Statewide Order No. 29-N-1, notice is hereby given that the Louisiana Department of Conservation and Energy has prepared a Draft Permit for the application referenced below and that the secretary will conduct a public hearing to solicit comments on the Draft Permit. The hearing will be held in the Donaldsonville Courtroom West, 300 Houmas St., Donaldsonville, LA 70346 at 6:00 P.M. on July 30, 2026. At such hearing, the secretary or his designated representative will give any interested person the opportunity to present testimony, facts, or oral or written comments relative to the Draft Permit prepared in response to an application by: BKVerde, LLC 4800 Blue Mound Road Fort Worth, TX 76106 BKVerde, LLC has applied to the Office of Permitting and Compliance, Engineering Division for a permit to drill and complete a Class V Subsurface Stratigraphic Test Well in Section 32, Township 11 South, Range 15 East, of Ascension Parish to acquire geotechnical information. The proposed well location is Latitude: 30° 04’ 24.70”N, Longitude: 90° 58’ 04.27”W (NAD27- LA South). The proposed well will be identified as Soleil Well No. 001. The well will be drilled to a depth of approximately 11,500 feet below ground level (BGL) with geotechnical cores, fluid samples, pressure measurements, and other applicable information collected. The base of the lowermost underground source of drinking water (USDW) at this location occurs at an approximate depth of 1,048 feet BGL.
