PUBLIC NOTICE - - - Louisiana Department of Conservation and Energy Office of Permitting and Compliance Louisiana Green Fuels LLC Class VI Injection Well Caldwell Parish Docket No. UIC 2026-03 Site ID Code 8016 Application Nos. 45045, 45046, and 45047 Pursuant to provisions of the laws of the State of Louisiana and particularly Title 43 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 as amended, and provisions of Statewide Order No. 29-N-6, notice is hereby given that the Louisiana Department of Conservation and Energy has prepared a Draft Permit for the application referenced below and that the secretary will conduct a public hearing to solicit comments on the Draft Permit. The hearing will be held in the Caldwell Parish High School Fine Arts Building, 251 Spartan Dr., Columbia, LA 71418 at 6:00 pm on April 9, 2026. At such hearing, the secretary or his designated representative will give any interested person the opportunity to present testimony, facts, or oral or written comments relative to the Draft Permit prepared in response to an application by: Louisiana Green Fuels LLC 303 Wall St. Columbia, LA 71418 Louisiana Green Fuels, LLC has applied to the Office of Permitting and Compliance, Engineering Division for a permit to drill, construct, and operate three Class VI Injection Wells for the geologic sequestration of carbon dioxide. The proposed wells are identified as Louisiana Green Fuels No. W-N1, Louisiana Green Fuels No. W-N2, and Louisiana Green Fuels No. W-S2. The wells will be located in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana, specifically in Section 24, Township 14 North, Range 3 East (W-N1); Section 21, Township 14 North, Range 4 East (W-N2); and Section 43, Township 14 North, Range 4 East (W-S2). The surface coordinates for the proposed wells are 32°11'17.24" North, 92°06'35.50" West for W-N1; 32°11'12.7210" North, 92°04'8.9598" West for W-N2; and 32°09'50.18" North, 92°05'15.15" West for W-S2. The wells will be drilled to a depth of approximately 7,000 feet below ground level (BGL). The base of the lowermost underground source of drinking water (USDW) at this location occurs at an approximate depth of 1,068 feet BGL.
