PUBLIC NOTICE - - - Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development Performance Hearing State of Louisiana Community Development Block Grant Funded Public Facility Improvements (HVACs) In accordance with Jefferson Parish Citizen Participation requirements for State of Louisiana, Office of Community Development grants and other programs, Jefferson Parish is publishing this notice of a public meeting on the topic of the State of Louisiana funded CDBG-CV HVAC grant performance and close out review. Jefferson Parish was awarded $1,976,752 through a competitive grant from the State of Louisiana, (FY 2021 LCDBG HVAC Program), for the purpose of improving air quality as a response to COVID. The purpose of this public notice is to solicit the public’s opinion of the effectiveness of the LCDBG program. This hearing will allow for comments from all interested parties, particularly those of low to moderate income residing in the areas benefiting from these public infrastructure improvements.
