PUBLIC NOTICE - - - If you lived in the Lakeshore Estates PUD Subdivision from 2010-present, you might be a member of a class action lawsuit, and a motion to dismiss your claims has been filed. The motion is set for hearing on MAY 15, 2026, at 9:00 AM before Judge Omar Mason, Division E, Orleans Parish Civil District Court, located at 421 Loyola Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70112.. On July 6, 2020, an Orleans Parish District Judge certified a class action against Tammany Holding Company, LLC, related to personal injuries and property damage caused by concrete crushing operations in the Lakeshore Estates neighborhood. The class action includes three subclasses of people defined as: (1) The Dust Damages Subclass All persons who are, or were, residents, domiciliaries, were located, and/or owned property within a 3 mile radius surrounding the Lakeshore Estates PUD from September 2010 to present, and have suffered damage to their persons and/or residential properties from dust associated with the concrete crushing operations at Lakeshore Estates PUD, as more fully depicted in the attached map. (2) The Noise Damages Subclass All persons who are, or were residents, domiciliaries, were located, and/or owned property within a 4,000-foot radius surrounding the Lakeshore Estates PUD from September 2010 to March 20, 2013, and have suffered damage to their persons and/or residential property from noise associated with the concrete crushing operations located in Lakeshore Estates PUD. (3) The Water Damages Subclass All persons who are, or were, residents, domiciliaries, were located and/or owned property adjacent to the waterways directly adjacent to the Lakeshore Estates PUD from September 2010 to March 20, 2013, who have suffered damage to their persons and/or residential property from the barge traffic and storm water runoff associated with the concrete crushing operations located in Lakeshore Estates PUD. If any of these describe you, then you are likely a class member. If the motion is granted, your claims will be dismissed.
