PUBLIC NOTICE - - - Howell Village Senior, LP is proposing the construction of 72 one-bedroom units located at approximately 3800 72nd Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA. These New Construction units in 12 buildings will be available to elderly households earning 30%-60% of Area Median Income. This project will also have a community facility, a picnic area with permanent grill, a courtyard with seating, Development Wi-Fi, and security cameras. The development plans to host a Federally Qualified Health Center on-site once a year at minimum. The proposed name of the project is Howell Village Senior. The project will be applying for an allowance of 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits pursuant to tax-exempt bond financing to be allocated by Louisiana Housing Corporation. Total Development Cost is approximately $25 million. The anticipated funding sources are approximately $9.4 million in LIHTC equity, $6.72 million in HUD Section 202 financing, $5 million in Community Project Funding, $850,000 in FHLB Dallas AHP funds, and $3,000,000 in CDBG-DR Gap Financing.
