MILLAR NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AUTHORITY TO SELL IMMOVABLE PROPERTY AT PRIVATE SALE NOTICE IS GIVEN that Minette Millar McGuire, Testamentary Executrix of the Succession of John S. Millar, has, pursuant to the provisions of the Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure, Article 3281, petitioned this Honorable Court for Authority to sell at private sale, for the price of Four Hundred and Ninety-Five Thousand ($495,000) Dollars, and on such further terms and conditions as are set forth in the Agreement to Purchase or Sell which is annexed to the Petition for Authority to Sell Immovable Property at Private Sale on file in these proceedings, the Succession’s interest in and to the following described property. A CERTAIN LOT OF GROUND, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, and all of the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, situated in the Sixth District of this City, in Square no. 34, bounded by Joseph, Chestnut, Camp and Arabella Streets. According to a survey of Gilbert & Kelly, surveyors, dated October 26, 1936, annexed to an act before Wilhelmina Von Behren, N.P., dated December 4, 1936, said lot commences at a distance of 90 feet from the corner of Joseph and Chestnut Street and measures thence thirty (30') feet front on Joseph Street, by a depth of one hundred twenty (120') feet between equal and parallel lines, and is composed of the rear portion of lots nos. 11, 12, 13 and 14. Improvements bear the Municipal No. 926 Joseph Street. NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with law, notice is hereby given that Minette Millar McGuire, Testamentary Executrix, proposes to sell the aforesaid immovable property, at private sale, for the price and upon the terms aforesaid, and heirs, legatees, and creditors are required to make opposition, if any they have or can, to such sale, within seven (7) days, including Sundays and holidays, from date whereon the last publication of this notice appears.
