PUBLIC NOTICE - - - CITY PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2026 PUBLIC HEARING: 1:30PM CITY COUNCIL CHAMBER (CITY HALL – 1E07) THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY COUNCIL MOTION M-25-470 AND THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION’S RULES, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2026, AT 1:30PM IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBER (CITY HALL – 1E07) ON THE CANNABIS, TOBACCO AND NICOTINE STUDY Cannabis, Tobacco and Nicotine Study – The City Planning Commission is directed to conduct a study on retail establishments that sell cannabis, tobacco and nicotine products and to provide recommendations regarding updated regulation of these uses, including but not limited to the definition of the new uses, use standards, signage regulations, and density restrictions, as applicable. This study is intended to supplant the study commissioned by the Council through motion M-25-379. THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION, IN ACCORDANCE WITH MOTION M-25-470 AND THE CPC’S RULES, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES WILL HEAR ALL INTERESTED PARTIES WHO WISH TO SPEAK ON THE CANNABIS, TOBACCO AND NICOTINE STUDY. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND AND ALL RELEVANT COMMENTS ARE ENCOURAGED.
