PUBLIC NOTICE - - - CAPSTONE AT NORTH POINT, LP is submitting an application to the Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) to compete for 4% Tax Credits and CDBG funds under the PRIME Program. The application will be for the new construction of a multifamily elderly housing development named Capstone at North Point. The proposed development will be located at the 5800 Block Airline Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70807 (East Baton Rouge Parish). Capstone at North Point will consist of 80 one-bedroom units designed to serve elderly households. Supportive services in accordance with HUD regulations will be provided and may include, but are not limited to, financial and health seminars, as well as connections to supportive medical and social services within the community. This will be a 100% Tax Credit development, with units targeted to households earning at or below 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI). The total development cost is estimated to be approximately $25,000,000. Funding sources are anticipated to include investor equity, conventional financing, and additional soft funding sources such as deferred developer fees or owner contributions.
