ROSS, the duly appointed and qualified Administratrix of the Succession of DALILA MONTERROSA MELANCON, is applying for authority to sell at private sale the following described immovable property owned by the Succession of DALILA MONTERROSA MELANCON: Decedent’s undivided one-half (1/2) interest in and to 4306 Stockton Street, Metairie LA 70001, more particularly described as: THREE CERTAIN LOTS OF GROUND, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, and all the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, appurtenances, and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, situated in the Parish of Jefferson, Louisiana, Square No. 5 of Suburban Villas, bounded by Houma Boulevard, Norton and Stockton Streets and Bridgedale, designated by the Nos. 28 to 30, both inclusive, on a plan of survey made by S. A. Calongne’s Sons, Surveyors, dated October 9, 1948, blue print of which is attached to act passed before J.E. Hammel, Notary Public, on October 15, 1948, and according to which said lots Nos. 28 to 30 both inclusive, measure together 60 feet front on Stockton Street, by a depth between equal and parallel lines of 120 feet. The Administratrix is applying for authority to sell the above referenced property for the sum of not less than ONE-HALF of TWO-THIRDS (2/3) of the appraised value, setting a minimum sales price for the succession’s interest in the property of FIFTY-SIX THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SIX AND 67/100 ($56,666.67) DOLLARS; Notice is given to all parties to whom it may concern, including the heirs and creditors of the Decedent herein, and of this estate, to make any opposition which they have or may have to such application, at any time prior to the issuance of the Order or Judgment authorizing, approving, and homologating such application, and that such Order or Judgment may be issued after the expiration of seven (7) days from date of second publication of this Notice, all in accordance with law.
