PUBLIC NOTICE - - - 24TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT FOR THE PARISH OF JEFFERSON STATE OF LOUISIANA NO. 872-081 DIVISION “ C ” SUCCESSION OF GARY A. ACOSTA NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AUTHORITY TO SELL WHEREAS, Earl Mitzel, Administrator of the Succession of Gary A. Acosta, has made application to the Court for the sale, at private sale, of the immovable property hereinafter described, to-wit: All of Decedent’s rights, title and interest (15%) in and to: A CERTAIN LOT OF GROUND, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon and all of the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, appurtenances and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining situated in the Parish of Jefferson, State of Louisiana, in SQUARE M, HARAHAN CITY, bounded by Hickory and Oak Avenue, Sixth and Wilson (late North Park) Streets, designated as LOT NO 40-A on a survey by Errol E. Kelly, Surveyor, dated April 11, 1969, and according to said survey, said Lot 40-A commences at a distance of 390 feet from the corner of Hickory Avenue and Sixth Street, same width in the rear, by a depth of 120 feet between equal and parallel lines, said Lot No. 40-A being composed of the whole original Lot No. 40 and one-half of original Lot 41. The improvements thereon bear Municipal No. 534 Hickory Ave., Harahan, La. Being the same property acquired by Gary A. Acosta by act dated December 18, 1980 and registered at COB 996, page 411. Upon the following terms and conditions, to-wit: SIXTY-FIVE THOUSAND and 00/100 DOLLARS ($65,000.00) cash for 100% of the property, with the Succession to receive its proportionate share of the net proceeds after payment of the usual vendor’s costs and fees and mortgage balance. Notice is hereby given to all parties whom it may concern, including the heirs and creditors of the decedent herein, and of this estate, be ordered to make any opposition which they have or may have to such application, at any time, prior to the issuance of the order or judgment authorizing, approving and homologating such application and that such order or judgment may be issued after the expiration of ten (10) days from the one and only publication of such notice, all in accordance with law.
