PUBLIC NOTICE - - - 24TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT FOR THE PARISH OF JEFFERSON STATE OF LOUISIANA NUMBER: 863-208 DIVISION: P SUCCESSION OF GLORIA TUTTLE HINCHEY NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AUTHORITY TO SELL IMMOVABLE PROPERTY AT PRIVATE SALE NOTICE IS GIVEN that JEANETTE HINCHEY LARK, Testamentary Executrix of the SUCCESSION OF GLORIA TUTTLE HINCHEY, has, pursuant to the provisions of the Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure, Article 3281, petitioned this Honorable Court for authority to sell at private sale, for the price of ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY AND 00/100 DOLLARS ($180,000.00), the Succession's interest in and to the following described property: THAT CERTAIN PIECE OR PORTION OF GROUND, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon and all of their servitudes, rights and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, situated in the State of Louisiana, Parish of Jefferson, in that part thereof now lmown as ORLEANS VILLAGE, section Four, being a resubdivision of Lot H-125 T 14-S, R-23-E, West of the Mississippi River, as delineated on a plan ofresubdivision by JJ Krebs & Sons, Inc., C.E., &S., dated April 3, 1970, approved by the Jefferson Parish Council under Ordinance No. 10036, adopted March 11, 1971, filed for record in COB??? folio 30, office of the Clerk of Court of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, and according thereto, said lot of ground is designated and described as follows: LOT NO. 12 in SQUARE "M"', which said square is bounded by Sorbonne Drive, Bowden Street, Grinell Drive and Radcliff Street. Said Lot 12 commences at a distance of 248.25 feet from the corner of Sorbonne Drive and Bowdon Street, and measures thence 64 feet front on Sorbonne Drive, same in width in the rear, by a depth of 90 feet between equal and parallel lines. Al as more fully shown on survey of Sterling Mandle, Land Surveyor, dated March 22nd, 1979, annexed hereto. Improvements thereon bear the Municipal Nos: 3073 Sorbonne Drive. with the following to be paid by the Succession and reduced out of the gross sale proceeds: (1) A commission for the seller's agent in the amount of three percent (3%) of the gross sale price, being five thousand four hundred and no/100 dollars ($5,400.00). (2) A commission of the buyer's agent in the amount of one thousru1d four hundred and no/100 dollars ($1,400.00). (3) One thousand and no/100 dollars ($1,000.00) of closing costs. Thus, the Succession will receive net proceeds of the sale in the amount of one hundred seventy-two thousand two hundred and no/100 dollars ($172,200.00). NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with law, notice is hereby given that JEANETTE HINCHEY LARK, Testamentary Executrix of the SUCCESSION OF GLORIA TUTTLE HINCHEY, proposes to sell the aforesaid immovable property, at private sale, for the price and upon the terms aforesaid, and the heirs, legatees, and creditors are required to make opposition, if any they have or can, to such sale, within seven (7) days, including Sundays and holidays, from date whereon the last publication this notice appears.
