PUBLIC NOTICE - - - 24TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT FOR THE PARISH OF JEFFERSON STATE OF LOUISIANA DOCKET NO: 834-362 DIVISION: "O" SUCCESSION OF MELVINA GORDON NOTICE TO SELL IMMOVEABLE PROPERTY AT PRIVATE SALE WHEREAS Odile Gordon, Administratrix, of the above estate has made application to the Court for sale, at private sale, of the immoveable property herein-described to-wit: Certain portions of ground, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, all rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, appurtenances and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining situated in the Parish of Jefferson, State of La., on the “est Bank of the Mississippi River, in the subdivision known as HARVEY CANAL SUBDIVISION, all as more fully shown on copy of map of portion of said subdivision by C. A. Robert, C.E., dated November 5, 1952, copy on file in the office of the Clerk of Court, Jefferson Parish, and designated and described in accordance with said map as all of LOT #4 and portion of LOT #3 adjoining Lot #4, in SQUARE #51, said square being bounded by Estalote and Pailet Avenues, 34th and 36th Streets. Portion of Lot #3 measures 3 feet 3 inches front on Pailet Avenue, a width in the rear of 19 feet 4 inches by a depth on the side line separating it from Lot #4 of 120 feet, a depth on the other side line of 121 feet 0 inches 5 lines. Said portion of Lot #3 immediately adjoins Lot #4. Lot #4 measures 25 feet front on Pailet Avenue, similar width in the rear, by a depth of 120 feet between equal and parallel lines. Being part of the same property acquired by William S. Resor from Dom, Inc. by act before John F. Stafford, N.P., on December 31, 1954, registered in COB. 371 folio 227, Parish of Jefferson, La. The Administratrix, seeks an order authorizing her to sell the estate’s undivided one-half (1/2) interest in the aforedescribed property for the price and consideration of Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00) for Decedent’s share of the above-described undivided immoveable property. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL PARTIES whom it may concern, including the heirs and creditors of the Decedent herein, and of this estate, be ordered to make any opposition which they have, or may have, to such application, at any time, prior to the issuance of the order or judgment authorizing, approving and homologating such application, and that such order or judgment may be issued after the expiration of seven (7) days, from the date of the last publication of such notice, all in accordance with law.
