PUBLIC NOTICE - - - West Baton Rouge Museum Regular Board Meeting Meeting Minutes July 16, 2025 The meeting was called to order at 5:35PM by Treasurer Will Kleinpeter. Kleinpeter asked Bergeron to call the roll. Present were Brilliant Clayton, Melanie Clouatre, Joycelyn Green, William Kleinpeter, David Toups, and Sadie Payne Woods. Museum Executive Director Angélique Bergeron and Katherine Andre (ex-officio) were also present. Drew Maciasz, Rose Roché, and Lorry Trotter were absent. Kleinpeter declared a quorum. Kleinpeter asked if there were any corrections to the minutes from the April 16, 2025 regular meeting. There being none, the minutes were accepted as written. Kleinpeter asked Bergeron to present the financial report. Bergeron presented the budget-to-actual report for the first two quarters of 2025. Under old business, Bergeron gave an update on the generator which is expected to arrive mid-August. Under new business, Bergeron reported on the WBR Historical Association membership and mailing list changes. She then reported on the 30th annual SugarFest, which will be on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Kleinperter asked Bergeron to present her Director’s Report, which she did. Kleinpeter reminded everyone that the WBRM Board will meet next for a regular meeting on Wednesday, October 8th (a week early to accommodate travel) at 5:30PM.
