R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction are requested by Ochsner Health System for construction of: Project Name: Ochsner Iberville Phlebotomy Lab Enhancements 25455 Highway 1. Plaquemine, LA 70764 Project Number: 6022173 Bids will be received at the office of the Grace Hebert Curtis Architects, 501 Government Street, Suite 200, Baton Rouge Louisiana 70802 until 2:00 PM., Local Time on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders have the option to submit their bids electronically by using Central Bidding (www.centralauctionhouse.com) . Bidders shall be solely responsible for ensuring that their bids are received on or before the bid opening and neither the Owner nor Architect shall be responsible for any failure of the delivery method chosen. All bids received after 2:00 pm on February 12, 2026 will be returned to the bidder unopened. Any person requiring special accommodations shall notify the Owner and Architect of the type(s) of accommodation required not less than seven (7) days before the bid opening. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, in amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to 5 percent of the base bid and all additive alternates in the form of either a certified check or a bid bond. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the Project Site located at 25455 Highway 1, Plaquemine, LA 70764. The Non-Collusion Affidavit, the Affidavit certifying compliance with R.S. 38:2212.10 regarding an employee verification system, the No Convictions Affidavit required by R.S. 38:2227, and other required affidavits/documentation as specified in the Bid Documents must be hand delivered to the Architect by the apparent low bidder within 10 calendar days of the bid opening. No bid may be withdrawn from a period of 60 days after the bid opening except as provided by law.
