In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, JULY 21, 2026, upon the application of PIE LA OPERATING, LLC. At such hearing the Department of Conservation and Energy will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Yegua Zone, Reservoir A, in the Perkins Field, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. 1. To establish rules and regulations governing the exploration for and production of gas and condensate from the Yegua Zone, Reservoir A. 2. To create a drilling and production unit for the exploration for and production of gas and condensate from the Yegua Zone, Reservoir A, as shown on the plat submitted with the application and being designated as the Y RA SUA. 3. To force pool and integrate all separately owned tracts, mineral leases and other property interests within the proposed unit with each tract sharing in unit production on a surface acreage basis of participation. 4. To propose that all wells drilled in the future to the Yegua Zone, Reservoir A, inside and outside of the unit proposed herein be located in accordance with the provisions of Statewide Order No. 29-E. 5. To provide that the Department of Conservation and Energy may reclassify the reservoir by supplemental order without the necessity of a public hearing should such reclassification be warranted based on evidence furnished to the Secretary of the Department of Conservation and Energy. 6. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The Yegua (Cockfield) Zone was previously defined by and is hereby defined by the Office of Permitting and Compliance Order No. 986-B-3 as being that gas and condensate bearing zone encountered between the depths of 9,920’ and 11,410’ (electrical log measurements) in the Wagner & Brown-John McFatter No. 2 Well (SN 202704), located in Section 4, Township 8 South, Range 10 West.
