PUBLIC NOTICE - - - REQUISITION 11297696 OFFICIAL PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE REGULAR ZONING MEETING OF THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL OF THE PARISH OF EAST BATON ROUGE AND THE CITY OF BATON ROUGE Notice is hereby given to all citizens of the City of Baton Rouge, Parish of East Baton Rouge and to all other interested persons, of the introduction at the regular meeting of the Metropolitan Council of the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge, held on September 24, 2025, of the proposed ordinances, the titles of which are set forth hereinafter, and that public hearing will be held thereon by the Metropolitan Council at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in the Council Chambers (Room 348) on the third floor of the City-Parish Governmental Building in this City, these proposed ordinances being entitled as follows: ORDINANCE Amending the Comprehensive Zoning Map of the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge, as contained in and made part of the “Unified Development Code “, as amended so as to change the zoning on the property located at 11954 Coursey Boulevard To rezone from Rural to Light Commercial One (LC1) on property located on the south side of Coursey Boulevard, west of Scarlet Oak Boulevard, on property now or formerly known as Lot 37 of Coursey Village Subdivision, Second Filing. Section 50, T7S, R2E, GLD, EBRP, LA (Council District 8 - Amoroso) CASE 30-25 ORDINANCE Amending the Comprehensive Zoning Map of the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge, as contained in and made part of the “Unified Development Code “, as amended so as to change the zoning on the property located at 9770 Cortana Place To rezone from Commercial Alcoholic Beverage (bar and lounge) (C-AB-2) to Heavy Commercial Two (HC2) on property located on the south side of Cortana Place, east of Airline Highway, on property now or formerly known as Parcel 4-A of Cortana Plantation and Witter Estate.
