PUBLIC NOTICE - - - NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION REGARDING AD VALOREM TAX MILLAGE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Thursday June 25, 2026 at 5:30 o’clock p.m., the Board of Commissioners of St. George Fire Protection District No. 2 (“the District”) will consider the adoption of a resolution calling for an election on December 12, 2026 at which time a proposition would be submitted to the voters of the District to re-authorize the levy and collection of a 6.00 mill ad valorem tax for period of ten (10) years or capital improvements for, and the general operation of the St. George Fire Protection District No. 2. This public meeting has been (or will be) properly announced and will be held at the District’s headquarters, which are located at 14100 Airline Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70817.
