PUBLIC NOTICE - - - MJB:lck Approval Date: October 1, 2025 STATE OF LOUISIANA OFFICE OF CONSERVATION BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA September 20, 2025 RE: HICO-KNOWLES FIELD 29-K-27 TO ALL CONCERNED: This will advise that the following Legal Notice has been given to The Advocate, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for publication: LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, OFFICE OF CONSERVATION, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA. In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 and Statewide Order No. 29-K-1, the following notice is given: Please be advised that Nadel and Gussman Ruston, LLC has made application to designate their BRITT A No. 003 Well (SN 247886), located in Section 23, Township 20 North, Range 4 West, as the substitute unit well for the BOD SU5, Hico-Knowles Field, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, which unit was created by Office of Conservation Order No. 137, effective August 5, 1947 and redefined by Office of Conservation Order No. 137-E-3, effective October 18, 1984. This proposed well is to be substituted for the C L TUBBS No. 001 Well (SN 192612) and the BOD SU5; BRITT No. 001-ALT (SN 35165), which both wells having been plugged and abandoned. Application review by the Office of Conservation indicates that all requirements of Statewide Order No. 29-K-1, which governs the designation of substitute unit wells, have been met. Should any interested party feel that this application for the designation of the substitute unit well should not be approved, he is afforded the opportunity to make his objections known within the ten (10) calendar day period following the date of this Notice by filing an application for a public hearing in accordance with LAC 43:XIX.3901 et seq. (Rules of Procedure) along with the $755 fee referencing this notice and his opposition thereto to the Commissioner of Conservation, P. O. Box 94275, Baton Rouge, LA 70804-9275, with copies to the other parties as specified in the rules. In the absence of the timely filing of a proper and complete application for public hearing including applicable fee, a Supplemental Order will be issued designating the substitute unit well as requested by the applicant. With respect to the computation of said ten (10) calendar day period of time allowed for receiving written application for public hearing, the date of this Legal Notice and the approval date shall not be included. In the event the last day of said ten (10) calendar day period falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a legal holiday, it shall be understood that the last day of said ten (10) calendar day period will then be considered to be the following Monday or the day following the legal holiday. A copy of this application is available for inspection in the Office of Conservation Baton Rouge and Lincoln, Louisiana. All parties having interest therein shall take notice thereof.
