June 30, 2026 May 29, 2026 RE: SLIGO FIELD 29-L-2 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND ENERGY, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 and Statewide Order No. 29-L-3, the following notice is given: Please be advised that APEX NATURAL GAS, LLC has made application to terminate the unit(s) created for the Pool known as Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, Sand Units 53 and 54, by the Office of Permitting and Compliance Order No. 8-N-12, effective November 10, 2009, Sligo Field, Bossier Parish, Louisiana. The applicant represents that the following is true and correct: (a) a period of five years has elapsed without any production from the unit(s) and (b) there is no well located on the unit(s) which is capable of producing from the pool for which the unit(s) were established: and (c) a period of one year and ninety days has elapsed without any drilling, reworking, recompletion, deepening or plugging back operations having been conducted on a well located on the unit(s) to be terminated in an attempt to secure or restore production from the pool for which the unit(s) were established; and (d) there is no unexpired drilling permit for the drilling of a new well on the unit(s) to be terminated to a depth which would penetrate the pool for which the unit(s) were established. Application review by the Office of Permitting and Compliance indicated that all requirements of Statewide Order No. 29-L-3, which governs the termination of units have been met. Should any interested party feel that this application for the termination of said unit(s) should not be approved, he is afforded the opportunity to make his objections known, in writing, to the Secretary of the Department of Conservation and Energy, P. O. Box 94275, Baton Rouge, LA 70804-9275, within the thirty (30) calendar day period following the date of this notice. In the absence of the filing of any letter of objection during the said thirty (30) calendar day period, a Supplemental Order will be issued terminating the unit(s) as requested by the applicant. With respect to the computation of said thirty (30) calendar day period of time allowed for receiving written objections, the date of this Legal Notice and the approval date shall not be included. In the event the last day of said thirty (30) calendar day period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a legal holiday, it shall be understood that the last day of said thirty (30) calendar day period will then be considered to be the following Monday or the day following the legal holiday. A copy of this application is available for inspection in the Department of Conservation and Energy in Baton Rouge and Shreveport, Louisiana.
