PUBLIC NOTICE - - - - 7 - WEST CHENEYVILLE FIELD 26-218 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND ENERGY, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA. In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, JUNE 23, 2026, upon the application of WAGNER OIL LOUISIANA. At such hearing the Department of Conservation and Energy will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Wilcox Zone, Reservoir A, in the West Cheneyville Field, Evangeline and Rapides Parishes, Louisiana. 1. To authorize and permit the Applicant to drill, designate and utilize the proposed Wagner Oil Louisiana-Crowell 17 Well No. 2, as an alternate unit well for WX RA SUA, at the location and in the general manner shown on the plat submitted with the application, and made a part hereof, or at any other legal location with said unit. 2. To explicitly find that the proposed alternate unit well is in the interest of conservation and is necessary to drain a portion of the Wilcox Zone, Reservoir A, which cannot be efficiently and economically drained by any existing well in such unit, the proposed alternate unit well will permit the efficient, effective and economic recovery of hydrocarbons underlying said unit, will not create any inequitable advantages to any party involved, will enable the applicant, Wagner Oil Louisiana, to protect the correlative rights of all parties owning an interest in the affected unit and will not cause waste, but instead will maximize the reservoir’s ultimate recovery. 3. To provide that the unit operator of the WX RA SUA may produce the unit allowable from the unit well, any alternate unit well, or from any combination thereof, at its discretion. 4. To confirm Wagner Oil Louisiana as the operator of the WX RA SUA and to confirm Wagner Oil Louisiana as the operator of the proposed alternate unit well. 5. To provide that, except to the extent contrary with the requests set forth herein, the pertinent provisions of Office of Permitting and Compliance Order No. 1415-B, effective September 3, 2025, the unit created thereby shall continue in full force and effect and all pertinent provisions of any applicable Statewide Orders. 6. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The Wilcox Zone, Reservoir A was previously defined in Order No. 1415-B, effective September 3, 2025.
