PUBLIC NOTICE - - - - 3 - SIBLEY FIELD 26-188 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND ENERGY, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA. In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, JUNE 16, 2026, upon the application of STS PETROLEUM, LLC. At such hearing the Department of Conservation and Energy will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Lower Pettit Reservoir, Sand Unit D, in the Sibley Field, Webster Parish, Louisiana. 1. To redefine the Lower Pettit Reservoir, AS TO AND ONLY AS TO the unit established as Sand Unit D and designated as L PET SUD, by Office of Permitting and Compliance Order No. 148-F, effective July 1, 1963, as being that gas and condensate bearing sand encountered from the measured depths of 6,372’ and 6,460’ (electric log measurements) in the STS Petroleum, LLC (Kelly Operating Co, Ltd.)-West A No. 1 Well (SN 217055), located in Section 3, Township 17 North, Range 9 West. 2. To designate STS Petroleum, LLC as unit operator for L PET SUD and their West A No 1 Well (WSN 217055), at the location shown on the plat submitted with the application, as the substitute unit well for L PET SUD in compliance with the well spacing provisions of Order No. 148-F, effective July 1, 1963. The spacing provisions for the Lower Pettit Reservoir are 500’ from unit lines and 1,000’ from wells designated to serve offsetting units established for said Reservoir. The current unit well for the L PET SUD, the STS Petroleum, LLC (Otis C. Coles, Jr.)-L PET SUD;R.E. Gray No. 1 Well (SN 198116), last produced from this unit in November, 2010 and was plugged and abandoned effective October 12, 2022. 3. To confirm and continue in force and effect the unit designated L PET SUD, created by Order No. 148-F, effective July 1, 1963, and as supplemented by the 148-F Series of Orders, as shown on the plat submitted with the application, as a drilling and production unit for the exploration for and production of gas and condensate from the Lower Pettit Reservoir, Sand Unit D as proposed for redefinition herein. 4. That except to the extent contrary herewith, all pertinent provisions of Order No. 148-F and the subsequent 148-F Series of Orders shall remain in full force and effect. 5. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The Lower Pettit Reservoir was defined in Order No. 148-F, effective July 1, 1963, and is to be redefined INSOFAR AND ONLY INSOFAR AS IT CONCERNS THE L PETTIT SUD as described in Paragraph No. 1 above.
