PUBLIC NOTICE - - - -4- REDOAK LAKE AND CARROLL CREEK FIELDS 26-182 and 26-183 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND ENERGY, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA. In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, JUNE 9, 2026, upon the application of ENSIGHT IV ENERGY MANAGEMENT, LLC. At such hearing the Department of Conservation and Energy will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, in the Redoak Lake and Carroll Creek Fields, Red River Parish, Louisiana. 1. To authorize Applicant to drill, designate and utilize ten cross unit horizontal wells, with one to serve as a unit well and the remainder to serve as alternate unit wells for HA RA SUN and HA RA SUX, at the locations and in the general manner shown on the plat submitted with the application, and made a part hereof, or at any legal location within such units, and to approve an exception to the spacing provisions of Office of Permitting and Compliance Order No. 948-C, effective June 2, 2009 and Order No. 1186-C, effective December 16, 2008, as to the common boundary of the units which will be served by the cross unit horizontal wells, provided that said cross unit horizontal wells will be perforated no closer than 330’ from any unit boundary, other than the common boundary between the affected units, except as requested in Paragraph 2 below. 2. To grant Applicant an exception to the well spacing provisions of Order Nos. 948-C and 1186-C to allow the first and last perforation point or take point in the proposed cross unit horizontal wells to be located no closer than 100’ from the north and south unit lines and no closer than 200’ to any well in a competitive unit completed in, drilling to, or for which a permit has been granted to drill to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A. 3. To find that the proposed horizontal wells are necessary to efficiently and economically drain portions of the Haynesville Zone underlying the units on which such wells are proposed to be drilled which cannot be efficiently and economically drained by any existing well on such units, will prevent waste, avoid the drilling of unnecessary wells, protect correlative rights and promote the full and efficient development of the natural resources of this state. 4. To designate EnSight IV Energy Management, LLC as operator of HA RA SUX and HA RA SUN. 5. To provide that if the horizontal portion of a well is cased and cemented back above the top of the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, the distance to any unit boundary and offset well(s) will be calculated based on the distance to the nearest perforation in the well and not on the penetration point or terminus of the well in the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A. 6. To provide that production from the proposed wells shall be separated and metered individually and that this information shall be reported in the manner prescribed by the Office of Permitting and Compliance. 7. To provide that the unit allowable for each of the units to be served by the proposed wells may be produced from the unit well, from any alternate unit well, or from any combination of such wells serving the unit, at the discretion of the operator. 8. To provide that production from the proposed cross unit horizontal wells shall be allocated to each unit penetrated by the wells in the same proportion as the perforated length of the lateral in each such unit bears to the total length of the perforated lateral as determined by an “as drilled” survey performed after the well has been drilled and completed. 9. Except insofar as set forth above, to confirm and continue in full force and effect the provisions of Order No. 948-C, effective June 2, 2009, and Order No. 1186-C, effective December 16, 2008, as amended and supplemented by the 948-C and 1186-C Series of Orders, the units created thereby, and of all applicable Statewide Orders. 10.
