In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, APRIL 14, 2026, upon the application of CTR OIL, INC. At such hearing the Department of Conservation and Energy will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the C-2 Sand, B Zone, Wilcox Formation, in the Trout Creek Field, LaSalle Parish, Louisiana. 1. To permit the applicant to drill the CTR Oil, Inc.-Placid Fee No. 10 at an exception location for the Wilcox Formation, in the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (NW/4 of the SW/4) of Section 14, Township 8 North, Range 2 East, at the location shown on the plat submitted with the application. 2. To permit the operator to produce the CTR Oil Inc.-Placid Fee No. 10 Well. 3. To approve the location of the CTR Oil, Inc.-Placid Fee No. 10 Well, as shown on the plat submitted with the application, as an exception to the well location requirements in the Office of Permitting and Compliance Order No. 1267-A, effective March 11, 1986. 4. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The C-2 Sand, B Zone, Wilcox Formation was fully defined in the Office of Permitting and Compliance Order No. 1267-A, effective March 11, 1986, and requires wells drilled to the C-2 Sand, Wilcox Formation to be located 330’ from unit lines and 660’ between wells. The proposed location of the CTR Oil Inc.-Placid Fee No. 10 Well does not meet these requirements, for its 535’ from the East line and 180’ from the South line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (NW/4 of SW/4). The B-2 Zone is defined as the interval between 3444’-3740’ in the H. L. Hunt;Goodpine No C-6 Well in Section 29, Township 8 North, Range 3 East. The C-2 Sand (B-Zone) is situated at a depth of 3122’-3126 on the C.T.R. Oil, Inc.;Placid Fee No. 9 log. Both the Placid No. 9 and the Placid Fee No. 10 are located in Section 14, Township 8 North, Range 2 East.
