PUBLIC NOTICE - - - - 8 - WOODARDVILLE FIELD 26-105 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND ENERGY, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA. In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, MARCH 24, 2026, upon the application of COMSTOCK OIL & GAS-LOUISIANA, LLC. At such hearing the Department of Conservation and Energy will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir B, in the Woodardville Field, Bienville Parish, Louisiana. 1. To provide that Brookston Energy, Inc. (“Brookston”) should be designated as the operator of the CV RB SU71; SUST Forest 33 No. 1 Well (SN 238295), as shown on the plat submitted with the application, which is currently operated by Comstock (originally drilled and operated by Empresa Energy, L.P.). 2. To provide that Comstock will remain as operator of all other existing and future wells completed in the Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir B, in said unit 3. To provide that each of said operators, Brookston and Comstock, should be permitted to separately report production from the wells that they operate, respectively. 4. To provide that a single unit allowable should be assigned to CV RB SU71, which should be recoverable from either the unit well, any alternate unit well, or any combination thereof, with allocation of such allowable between said wells to be arranged by the operators of the wells at their discretion. 5. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir B was defined in Office of Permitting and Compliance Order No. 990-B, effective September 13, 2005, and was redefined as to CV RB SU71 in Order No. 990-B-57, effective January 8, 2008.
