PUBLIC NOTICE - - - - 1 - GREENWOOD-WASKOM FIELD 26-39 and 26-40 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND ENERGY, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA. In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2026, upon the application of SILVER HILL ENERGY OPERATING, LLC. At such hearing the Department of Conservation and Energy will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, in the Greenwood-Waskom Field, Caddo Parish, Louisiana. 1. To permit applicant to drill, designate and utilize one cross unit horizontal well as an additional alternate unit well for HA RA SUW and HA RA SU126, at the location and in the general manner shown on the plat submitted with the application, and made a part hereof, in exception to the spacing provisions of the 270-MM Series of the Department of Conservation and Energy Orders. 2. To permit Blue Dome Operating, LLC to continue to operate the existing unit and alternate unit wells serving HA RA SUW and that applicant should serve as operator of the proposed cross unit horizontal alternate unit well for HA RA SUW, in exception to the single operator per unit policy of the Department of Conservation and Energy and to confirm applicant as operator of HA RA SU126. 3. To find that the proposed well is necessary to efficiently and economically drain a portion of the reservoir covered by each unit which cannot be so drained by any existing well within such units, will prevent waste, avoid the drilling of unnecessary wells, protect correlative rights and promote the full and efficient development of the natural resources of this state. 4. To provide that if the horizontal portion of a well is cased and cemented back above the top of the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, the distance to any unit boundary and offset well(s) will be calculated based on the distance to the nearest perforation in the well and not on the penetration point or terminus. 5. To provide that production from the cross unit horizontal alternate unit well shall be separated and metered individually and this information shall be reported to the Department of Conservation and Energy in a manner to be prescribed by the Secretary of the Department of Conservation and Energy. 6. To provide that the unit allowable for the affected units may be produced from the unit well, from any alternate unit well, or from any combination of such wells serving the unit, at the discretion of the operator(s). 7. To provide that production from the proposed cross unit horizontal well shall be allocated to each unit penetrated by the well in the same proportion as the perforated length of later in each such unit bears to the total length of the perforated later as determined by an “as drilled” survey performed after the well has been drilled and completed. 8. To continue in full force and effect, except to the extent contrary herewith, the pertinent provisions of Order No. 270-MM, effective June 19, 2007, as amended and supplemented by the 270-MM Series of Orders, Statewide Order No. 29-S, and all other applicable Statewide Orders. 9. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A was initially defined in Order No. 270-MM, effective June 19, 2007, and was redefined as to HA RA SUW in Order No. 270-MM-13, effective May 3, 2009, and was redefined as to HA RA SU126 in Order No. 270-MM-73, effective January 15, 2019.
