PUBLIC NOTICE - - - - 2 - RED RIVER BULL BAYOU FIELD 26-24 and 26-25 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND ENERGY, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA. In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2026, upon the application of AZUL OPERATING, LLC. At such hearing the Department of Conservation and Energy will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, in the Red River Bull Bayou Field, DeSoto Parish, Louisiana. 1. To permit applicant to drill, designate and utilize one cross unit horizontal u-turn well to serve as an alternate unit well for HA RA SU80 and HA RA SUXX, at the locations and in the general manner shown on the plat submitted with the application, in exception to the spacing provisions of the Department of Conservation and Energy 109-X Series of Orders, provided there are no perforations in the wellbore closer than 330’ to any unit boundary, except for the common unit boundary between said units; 100’ from any unit boundary in the direction of the horizontal wellbore closest to the top of perforations or base of perforations; and 200’ between wells in adjacent competitive units for the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A. 2. To specifically find that the proposed cross unit horizontal u-turn well for HA RA SU80 and HA RA SUXX is reasonable and in the interest of conservation and necessary to efficiently and economically drain portions of the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, underlying said units, which cannot be efficiently and economically drained by any existing well within such units. 3. To provide that with respect to such horizontal well drilled to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, within or to serve HA RA SU80 and HA RA SUXX, where the horizontal portion of the well is cased and cemented back above the top of the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, the distance to any unit boundary and offset well(s) should be calculated based on the distance to the nearest perforation in the well and not on the penetration point or terminus. 4. To provide that unit production from the portion of the proposed cross unit horizontal u-turn well along the common unit line shall be allocated equally between HA RA SU80 and HA RA SUXX in the same proportion as the perforated length of lateral within 330’ of the common unit boundary between HA RA SU80 and HA RA SUXX bears to the total length of perforated lateral as determined by an “as drilled” survey performed after such cross unit horizontal u-turn is drilled and completed, provided that unit production should continue to be shared on a surface acre basis of participation. 5. To designate applicant as the operator of HA RA SU80 and HA RA SUXX and the cross unit horizontal u-turn well proposed hereunder. 6. To permit the operator of HA RA SU80 and HA RA SUXX to produce the unit allowable for each unit from either the unit well, any alternate unit well, or from any combination thereof, at its discretion. 7. To provide that production from the proposed cross unit horizontal u-turn well should be separated and metered individually, and this information should be reported in the manner prescribed by the Department of Conservation and Energy. 8. To continue in force and effect, except to the extent contrary herewith, the pertinent provisions of Order No. 109-X, effective June 25, 2008, as amended and supplemented by the 109-X Series of Orders, and all applicable Statewide Orders. 9. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A was defined in Order No. 109-X, effective June 25, 2008.
