PUBLIC NOTICE - - - - 5 - JOHNSON BRANCH FIELD 25-385 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, OFFICE OF CONSERVATION, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA. In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2025, upon the application of EXPAND OPERATING, LLC. At such hearing the Office of Conservation will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, in the Johnson Branch Field, Caddo Parish, Louisiana. 1. To provide an exception to the spacing provisions of the 994-D Series of Office of Conservation Orders, authorizing the applicant to drill, designate and utilized its HA RA SUN; Wier 11&2-15-16 HC No. 2 Alt and No. 3 Alt, at the proposed exceptional locations and in the general manner shown on the plat submitted with the application, and made a part hereof, provided such wells should be perforated no closer than 100’ from the northern unit boundary of HA RA SUGG and no closer the 330’ from any other unit boundary except for the common unit boundary between HA RA SUN and HA RA SUGG. 2. To find that such authorization to drill, designate and utilized the HA RA SUN; Wier 11&2-15-16 HC No. 2 Alt and No. 3 Alt, at the proposed exceptional locations and in the general manner shown on the plat submitted with the application, is necessary to efficiently and economically drain a portion of the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, underlying HA RA SUN and HA RA SUGG, which cannot be so drained by any existing well within such units. 3. To continue in full force and effect, except to the extent contrary herewith, the pertinent provisions of Order No. 994-D, effective July 21, 2009, as amended and supplemented by the 994-D Series of Orders, including Order No. 994-D-61, effective January 14, 2025, and all applicable Statewide Orders. 4. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A was originally defined in Order No. 994-D, effective July 10, 2007, and redefined in Order No. 994-D-18, effective July 21, 2009.
