In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2025, upon the application of BPX OPERATING COMPANY. At such hearing the Commissioner of Conservation will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, and Lower Cotton Valley Zone, Reservoir A, in the Elm Grove Field, Bossier Parish, Louisiana. 1. To permit the applicant to drill, designate and utilize three cross unit horizontal alternate unit wells previously approved in Office of Conservation Order Nos. 361-L-303 and 361-E-636, both effective June 24, 2025, for HA RA SU55, LCV RA SU81 and HA RA SUE, with lateral lengths extended beyond their previously approved distances as shown on the plat submitted with the application and made a part hereof, in exception to the spacing provisions of the 361-L and 361-E Series of Orders, and to provide that no portion of the perforated length of lateral in the cross unit wells should be located closer (a) 330’ to any west or east unit boundary; (b) 100’ to any north or south unit boundary, except for the common unit boundaries between said units; and (c) 200’ to any well in a competitive unit completed in, drilling to, or for which a permit has been granted to drill to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A and the Lower Cotton Valley Zone, Reservoir A. 2. Except insofar as set forth above, to confirm and continue in effect the provisions of Order No. 361-L, effective July 29, 2008, as amended and supplemented by the 361-L Series of Orders, and Order No. 361-E, effective July 16, 1996, as amended and supplemented by the 361-E Series of Orders, respectively, the units created thereby and applicable Statewide Orders. 3. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A was defined in Order No. 361-L, effective July 29, 2008, was redefined INSOFAR AND ONLY INSOFAR as HA RA SU55 is concerned, in Order No. 361-L-30, effective April 28, 2009, and was redefined INSOFAR AND ONLY INSOFAR as HA RA SUE is concerned, in Order No. 361-L-6, effective September 30, 2008. The Lower Cotton Valley Zone, Reservoir A was defined in Order No. 361-E, effective July 16, 1996, and was redefined INSOFAR AND ONLY INSOFAR as LCV RA SU81 is concerned, in Order No. 361-E-143, effective December 16, 2003.
