PUBLIC NOTICE - - - - 10 - RED RIVER BULL BAYOU AND CHEMARD LAKE FIELDS 25-328 thru 25-330 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, OFFICE OF CONSERVATION, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA. In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2025, upon the application of APEX NATURAL GAS, LLC. At such hearing the Commissioner of Conservation will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir B and Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, in the Red River Bull Bayou and Chemard Lake Fields, DeSoto Parish, Louisiana. 1. To dissolve two existing drilling and production units for the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, in the Chemard Lake Field, designated HA RA SUG and created by Office of Conservation Order No. 700-G-3, effective March 9, 2010, and designated as HA RA SUF and created by Order No. 700-G-1, effective March 16, 2010, as shown on the plat submitted with the application. 2. To simultaneously create two revised drilling and production units (to be designated as HA RB SU96 and HA RA SUR) for the exploration for and production of gas and condensate from the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir B, in the Red River Bull Bayou Field, and the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, in the Chemard Lake Field, respectively, as shown on the plat submitted with the application. 3. To force pool and integrate all separately owned tracts, mineral leases and other property interests within the units so created, with each tract sharing in unit production on a surface acreage basis of participation. 4. To permit Applicant to drill, designate and utilize eight cross unit horizontal wells, one of which to serve as a substitute unit well for HA RB SU76 and HA RB SU85 and as a unit well for HA RB SU96, three of which to serve as alternate unit wells for HA RB SU76, HA RB SU85 and HA RB SU96, and the other four cross unit horizontal wells to serve as alternate unit wells for HA RB SU76 and HA RB SU85, with such wells to be at the locations and in the general manner shown on the plat submitted with the application, in exception to the spacing provisions of the 109-X Series of Orders, provided that no portion of the perforated length of lateral in the cross unit horizontal wells should be located closer than 100’ to any north or south unit boundary and not closer than 330’ from any east or west unit boundary, except for the common unit boundary between said units served by such wells. 5. To specifically find that the proposed cross unit horizontal wells for HA RB SU76, HA RB SU85 and HA RB SU96 are reasonable and in the interest of conservation and necessary to efficiently and economically drain a portion of the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir B, underlying said units, which cannot be efficiently and economically drained by any existing well within such units, including portions of the participating units that are contained within 330’ of either side of the common unit boundary between said units. 6. To provide that with respect to horizontal wells drilled to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir B, within or to serve HA RB SU76, HA RB SU85 and HA RB SU96, where the horizontal portion of the well is cased and cemented back above the top of the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir B, the distance to any unit boundary and offset well(s) should be calculated based on the distance to the nearest perforation in the well and not based on the penetration point or terminus. 7. To confirm applicant as the operator of HA RB SU76 and HA RB SU85 and designate applicant as operator of HA RB SU96. 8. To permit the operator to produce the allowable for each unit from the respective unit well, substitute unit well, any alternate unit well, or from any combination thereof, at its discretion. 9. To provide that unit production from the proposed cross unit horizontal wells should be allocated to each unit in the same proportion as the perforated length of the lateral in each such unit bears to the total length of the perforated lateral, as determined by an “as-drilled” survey performed after such cross unit horizontal wells are drilled and completed. 10. To provide that production from the proposed cross unit horizontal wells should be separated and metered individually, and this information should be reported in the manner prescribed by the Office of Conservation. 11. To continue in force and effect, except to the extent contrary herewith, the pertinent provisions of Order No. 109-X, effective June 25, 2008, as amended and supplemented by the 109-X Series of Orders, Order No. 700-G, effective April 28, 2009, as amended and supplemented by the 700-G Series of Orders, and all applicable Statewide Orders. 12. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The Haynesville Zone, Reservoir B, in the Red River Bull Bayou Field, was originally defined in Order No. 109-X-4, effective November 6, 2008. The Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, in the Chemard Lake Field, was originally defined in Order No. 700-G, effective April 28, 2009.
